*Release Day Links & Author Interview** FOLLOW ME BACK (Twisted Love #2) by A. Meredith Walters @authoramwalters

The sequel to Lead Me Not, this dangerously sexy second installment in the Twisted Love series continues Aubrey and Maxx’s love story, from New York Times bestselling author A. Meredith Walters—who “writes the most beautifully flawed characters that still have you swooning” (Sawyer Bennett, USA Today bestselling author of the Off series).

Aubrey Duncan has loved…and lost. Should she follow a heart that’s betrayed her or a head that tells her to let go?

Maxx Demelo’s addiction almost destroyed him. It ruined his life and, most importantly, his relationship with the only girl he ever loved.

He has vowed to become the man Aubrey Duncan deserves. Even if he has to tear himself apart to do it. So he enters rehab, trying to fix the parts of him that are shattered as he longs to be healthy and whole.

Aubrey lost everything because she chose to listen to her heart. Now she has sworn to put herself first, to heal in the only way that she can…far away from Maxx and his demons.

But just as Aubrey is starting over, Maxx is released from rehab and thrust back into her world, determined to prove how much they still need each other. And the chaos that had defined them threatens to unleash once again…

But a heart, no matter how broken, is impossible to ignore.

1.             Do you write to a soundtrack or specific type of music?
I always create a story specific soundtrack for every book I write. It really helps me get into the mood of the book.

2.             What’s the most memorable character that you have ever written?
That’s a tough one because every character is unique and memorable. But I think the most memorable would be a tie between Flynn Hendrick from my Reclaiming the Sand series and Layna Whitaker from my psychological thriller, The Contradiction of Solitude.

3.             What kind of snack/drink is a MUST for you when writing?
I often forget to eat and drink when I’m writing. Hours will pass and I realize I haven’t eaten anything all day. But I suppose if I have to eat something, it would be Galaxy chocolate bars or Hershey’s Kisses when I can find them over here in the UK.

4.             Describe your perfect writing space? and where do you actually write?
My perfect working space is free of clutter with lots of natural light. I have a home office and my desk faces a large window that takes up one entire wall that overlooks the garden. Unfortunately it’s extremely cluttered and my husband’s outrageous collection of guitars and amplifiers takes up part of the space.

5.             What do you do with the stuff that gets “edited” out of your books? Do you keep it or do you consider it gone for good?
I keep it in a file of extras. Sometimes I’ll release “out takes” from books on my Facebook page.

6.             What is the first Romance book you remember reading?
I used to love historical romance and I remember reading Catherine Coulter’s bride series.
7.             What was the last book you read?
I had the privilege of beta reading an amazing post-apocalyptic book by a good friend. Before that I read The Haunting of Sunshine Girl which was a great spooky, YA read.

8.             When you are not writing, what are you doing (any hobbies or guilty pleasures)?
My daughter and I have started knitting, which is surprisingly addictive. Honestly though, when I’m not writing I try to gorge myself on books and really bad reality television.

 9.            What is your favorite way to interact with your fans? (social media, conventions, emails, letters..)
Social media is the easiest way for me to interact with my readers.

10.          What are you working on now?  Can we get a sneak peak?
I’m working on a thriller serial which will be told in three parts and tells the story of a missing girl from her point of view. Each part reveals an essential component to the mystery of where she is, why she was kidnapped, and most importantly, who she is.  It’s called The Missing.

The New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of Contemporary and Paranormal romance including The Find You in the Dark and Bad Rep series as well Reclaiming the Sand, and the Twisted Love series (Lead Me Not out in 2014 and Follow Me Back coming in 2015) from Gallery Books.

A. Meredith spent ten years as a counselor for at risk teens and children. First working at a Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault program and then later a program for children with severe emotional and mental health issues. Her former clients and their stories continue to influence every aspect of her writing.
When not writing (or being tortured with all manner of beauty products at the hand of her very imaginative and extremely girly daughter), she is eating chocolate, watching reality television that could rot your brain and reading a smutty novel or two.
